MiamiCoin, a crypto partnership with CityCoins unveiled in August that automatically allocates 30% of newly minted coins to the city, has made $7.1M for Miami  —  The South Florida city is the first municipality to accept cryptocurrency contributions through CityCoins, which the mayor says may one day take the place of taxes
