shares surged on their first day of trading Wednesday after the technology consultancy company launched its initial public offering. Late Tuesday, the company formerly known as Turing Holding Corp. priced its shares at $21 a piece, above their expected price range of $18 to $20 a share. When shares began trading on the Nasdaq a little after noon Eastern, they popped to an intraday high of $26.99, more than 28% above their pricing, and were last trading at $26.57. At those levels, the Chicago-based company commands a market valuation just north of $8 billion.
